Graphic Designers
How we do IT
You will work for as on a part time basis initially. Your function will mostly be web site and logo design, though we get requests for other graphic work as well.
When we receive a request that we can't cope with internally, we will
send the specifications to several Designers on our database. We will select, in conjunction with our Client, the design that is most suitable for the project.
The selected design will be paid for according to our agreement.
What happens to the rest of the designs?
Since we didn't use your design, we give you an option to retract the design and submit it else where, or add it to
our repository, which means that we look at the designs in the repository before we send out specifications for the next project. We might ask you to alter
it slightly, but if it gets used, you get paid.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for people that
have a fun outlook on life - being a bit weird is OK. It will show in your designs,
know one graphics package i.e. Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks, Corel Draw well,
knows basic HTML and JavaScript - other development experience will be a bonus,
can handle positive criticism - no tantrums or tears if we tell you to do it again!

PLEASE NOTE! We only accept ORIGINAL designs - previous designs done for other clients will NOT be accepted. Once a design is submitted to us, you MAY NOT re-use the design unless the design wasn't used and you retract the design.
We do have a document in this regard that you need to agree with, prior to working with us!
Developers
How we do IT
You will be approached, based on your skills, qualifications, previous track record and availability, would we require additional development resources.
We develop custom software for a variety of Clients which trust us not to reveal their business secrets. Software developed often becomes the intellectual property
of the Client, which means that you can NEVER use the code you've developed for eCcenTrix again. We will obviously start you off on
smaller projects until a trust relationship between us has been established. You will be required to sign an agreement for every project you work on.
Since we pride ourselves to do fixed-price-fixed-deadline projects, we need reliable developers that can stick to deadlines and are consistent in the quality of work delivered.
Prior to contacting a developer, eCcenTrix has already done the analysis and knows exactly what needs to be done. We will
send the selected developer a specification document with a time frame we've assigned. We've been in development long enough and are using
a basic function point count system to determine the time a program should take to develop. You send us your quote for the work that needs to be done.
Once we agree, you will receive supporting data and files and can start coding. When you are finished, you will upload the files to a secure server
from where we will access it for testing purposes. Once we are sure there are no bugs or program errors, we will sign the development off and you will be paid according to our agreement.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for people that
have ASP, .NET - VB, ASP or C#, Visual Basic, XML, Java, PHP, AJAX etc. skills
experience working and developing for database - MS SQLServer 2000 +, MySQL,
knows basic HTML, XHTML and JavaScript,
can handle positive criticism - no tantrums if we send stuff back or tell you to do it again!
